IT APPEARS THAT Barbadians are becoming more knowledgeable where domestic violence is concerned.

That assessment came last night from registered nurse Mechell Marshall during a discussion held by the men’s group of the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic.

“I cannot give statistics because I was not a part of any evidence-based research,” she said. “But people are becoming more knowledgeable to how they treat their partner whether male and male or female and female, however the relationship may go.”

Marshall added she believed in the power of knowledge and its ability to improve relationships within families. (MR)
