Oh, what a difference a week makes.
Basketball’s heated rivals are heading in different directions, as the Cavs survived a career-high 26 points from Jimal Singh before handing Lumber Company Lakers a second straight loss via Tuesday’s 74-68 win in the Co-operators General Insurance Premier League at the Wildey Gym.
It was the second victory in as many games for the league-leading Cavs, who bounced back from their own two-game slide after initially rattling off nine straight wins to start the season. (JM)
