Gap people not happy

LAST WEEK, business owners and visitors voiced their concerns about the closure of the night entertainment spots in St Lawrence Gap at 2 a.m, which is considered early by many.

The issue seemed to resolve around entertainment licences, which Hal’s Bar and The Old Jamm Inn have been unable to obtain.

Due to space, not everyone’s opinions could have been put into print then, so this week, the WEEKEND NATION is following up with more voices of dissent concerning The Gap.

Taxi drivers said they too were being affected by the closures. Kyle Bramble said it was a “massive blow”. (CA)
