CROSS BUNS STILL HOT

THEY MAY no longer sell for “one a penny, two a penny” as in the old nursery rhyme, but hot cross buns are still a big favourite for Barbadians at Good Friday and Easter.

One of the outlets where demand was high yesterday was Bakers Mart in Eagle Hall, St Michael.

Staff were kept busy all morning trying to meet orders for the treat, which was retailing for $5 per pack of eight. (BW)
