Locals making Artsplash

THE VERSATILITY and diversity of the local art scene are on display as the Festival Art Gallery makes Artsplash Gallery its home for the next

Created by Barbadian art lover, Kathy Yearwood, the gallery brings together the works of 38 local artists in one space.

Martina Pilé, curator of Artsplash in Hastings, Christ Church, explained the Festival Art Gallery was created by Yearwood to promote Barbadian artists and their works.

“We have a variety of styles and it is nice to see them gathered in one room because it shows really the diversity and versatility that Barbadian artists have,” Pilé said. (HLE)
