PRE-EMINENT cricket commentator Tony Cozier has a few suggestions for the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) to help jumpstart Barbados’ cricket.

Cozier was the featured speaker at the BCA’s awards ceremony on Saturday night at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre. His theme was Barbados Cricket Returning to its Glorious Past. He pointed out that while 2015 was a great one for Barbados cricket at the regional level, there had been a noticeable decline in standards.

“We have had a drop in the standards in the past couple of decades, standards which made this tiny island of ours the epitome of excellence wherever the game is played,” he said. (PG)
