Harper-Hall: Chapter not closed

AFTER 20 years as president, Kathy Harper-Hall has decided to pass on the baton of the Caribbean Netball Association (CNA) but refuses to give up her true passion for the sport.

Occupying a chair at the Sea Rocks Dome, Christ Church, after the 16th Jean Pierre Youth Netball Tournament’s Breakfast With The Stars, the 78-year-old told WEEKENDSPORT that her 44-year involvement in Caribbean netball went deeper than netball.

The mother of six biological children and four others, revealed that her greatest passion was her interaction with and development of young people.

As a matter of fact, Harper-Hall was initially hesitant to become president and had preferred to continue her first love – carrying out the secretarial aspect of sports administration. (RG)
