Spruce-up for Tyrol Cot

THE HOME of Sir Grantley Adams has been given a facelift.

It was the result of a presentation of 31 gallons of paint handed over by Berger Paints to the Tyrol Cot Redevelopment subcommittee last Thursday.

Tyrol Cot was home to Premier and National Hero, Sir Grantley Adams, and Lady Adams, and was the birthplace of their son, the island’s second Prime Minister, the late Tom Adams.

“Berger Paints is both pleased to contribute to the Tyrol Cot restoration project. It is one of the few ways the company can exercise its corporate social responsibilities within the community,” said its marketing assistant Renee Cobham.
