Kellman right at home using standpipe

DAVID KELLMAN has no running water in his home but he is not worried.

The Clinketts, St Lucy resident takes bucket in hand and heads to the nearest standpipe.

“I have to come out here once every couple weeks to wash my clothes. The young people don’t know ’bout this washing – they like their washing machines,” he said.

When asked if it was an inconvenience, Kellman said there was more than one standpipe in the area and he did not mind the walk. And the water was good, he said. (CA)
