THE NATIONAL UNION of Public Workers is summoning all retrenched National Conservation Commission (NCC) and Beautify Barbados workers to an emergency general meeting on Friday.
Acting general secretary Wayne Walrond said the union wished to update the workers on various issues.
“The meeting is being called to update the NCC workers on the union’s position in light of the impending decision of the employment rights tribunal and will also update the Beautify Barbados workers about the status of outstanding vacation leave and claims for gratuity payment.”
The meeting will take place in the union’s Horatio Cooke Auditorium at 10 a.m. (CA)
