CAN DADDY’S WISH BE STOLEN by Northern Star in today’s 66th running of the Grade I Barbados Guineas?

The first Jewel of the Triple Crown, over 1 570 metres and worth $56 500, is expected to provide a sensational finish at the historic Garrison Savannah around 4:55 p.m.

While the above mentioned trio has racked up seasonal victories in two of their last three starts, fans may want to Guess Again as Steven Allan is a lurking threat. It is almost certain that the winner will likely come from four of the five horses mentioned here.

None has created quite the excitement like Northern Star, who, since his maiden win, has been a proverbial tower of strength. His explosive killer instinct in the final two furlongs has seen him rising to the task magnificently, forcing his opponents into a quick submission. He is the one to beat. (LY)
