‘Not all gloom’ in real estate

BUSINESS IS SLOW right now, but the real estate business is still alive in Barbados.

That is according to director of the Real Estate Expo, Derrick Frederick, who said his observation and feedback from the experts suggest that there was still a lot of land available.

“People will always be buying. There is a cycle in the economy, there are new people leaving school [and there are new people getting opportunities]. People say that land isn’t selling, but land will always be selling and there is always money in the economy. The challenge is where is it, because it moves around. But essentially it is still pretty slow right now,” Frederick said. (YB)
