WARRIORS are ready and raring for the play-offs.
MVP candidate Jamar Headley had yet another double-double, scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds as Hilton Barbados Warriors prepped for the post-season with a meaningless 80-53 win over Pan American International Insurance Warrens in the Co-operators General Insurance Basketball Premier League.
Playing at the YMCA, Warriors never trailed in the contest after also getting double-digit contributions from Nicky King (14), Corey McDonald (13) and Justin Maloney (12).
Dario Cumberbatch led Warrens with 14 points and Manuel Alleng added 12.
Earlier, national swingman Mark Bridgeman scored a game-high 20 points and Ormond Haynes added 18 as Lumber Company Lakers missed the postseason for the second straight season despite recording an equally meaningless 73-49 rout of a still winless Vyb Patriots.
Andre Stoute top-scored for Patriots with 15 while Stefan Brathwaite and Shawn Ifill added 12 and 11 points respectively. (JM)
