OPPOSITION MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT for St James Central Kerrie Symmonds has condemned reports that Government is moving to reimburse the salaries of ministers who had absorbed a pay cut around three years ago due to the economic problems in the country.

He said that this should not be happening at a time when the country is on its knees with dismissed National Conservation Commission workers not having financial closure and some University of the West Indies students unable to sit exams due to outstanding fees.

“I am not going to walk on any cushion of comfort while my constituents who sent me here are walking on a bed of nails.” (WILLCOMM)
