IT’S YOUR FAULT FREUNDEL!

Opposition Leader Mia Mottley used yesterday’s no-confidence motion in Parliament as an opportunity to lay the blame for the country’s ills squarely at the feet of Prime Minister Freundel Stuart.

Mottley, who was on her feet for five-and-a- half hours of the day’s debate before a packed public gallery and visitor’s section, chastised the Prime Minister:

• For not personally visiting water-starved rural residents as a sign of empathy,

• For not getting involved in the impasse between the two teachers unions and Minister of Education Ronald Jones,

•For not paying stricter attention to a declining health care sector, inclusive of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital;

•For being party to the controversial Cahill waste to energy project; and

• For overseeing a situation where the Ministry of Housing had constructed a number of houses that Barbadians had no interest in buying.
