A COURAGEOUS Pan Africanist brought both sides of the House of Assembly together in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A few days after Member of Parliament for St Michael East, Trevor Prescod, underwent surgery he walked up the steps of Parliament at 12:22 p.m. to support his colleagues in their no-confidence motion against the Government.
He had been admitted to the hospital for a few days, and actually left the Queen Elizabeth Hospital earlier in the day.
Members of both sides applauded Prescod for making the extra effort in spite of his health issues.
Minister of Finance, Chris Sinckler, who was speaking when Prescod entered the chamber, said he was glad to see his long-time friend on his feet.
