Rangers clip Blackbirds’ wings
DEFENDING CHAMPIONS C.O. Williams Rangers scored a facile 50-30 win over UWI Blackbirds ‘B’, thanks to perfect first and last quarters by Barbados’ goal attack Nikita Payne and an impressive 33 goals from 36 attempts.

Rangers needed to win the match to keep in contention after losing to Guardian General Pride of Villa and knockout queens, Blackbirds ‘A’.
Friday night both teams were equal up to 8-8 when a simple miss by UWI’s six-footer Rhea Bryant led to Barbados captain Rhe-Ann Niles snatching the rebound and Payne converting at the other end for Rangers to take the lead for good.
