A FULL SERIES of day-night ODI matches is coming to the Caribbean.

And the Test equivalent may not be too far behind.

West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) chief executive officer Michael Muirhead has hinted that the Windies senior side will likely host its first ever day-night Test match against Pakistan next year following next month’s historic ODI tri-nation matches.

Muirhead disclosed the news in light of the upcoming series with South Africa and Australia that will see all ten ODI fixtures being played as day-night matches for the first time.

“Firstly we will be doing it in Dubai against Pakistan later this year and I figure the same will probably happen here for the return next year as that was always going to be our next step,” reasoned Muirhead.
