St Thomas man on gun, ammo charges

A 23-YEAR-OLD MAN has been arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

He is Stefan Jaleel Kevon Lemon of Sturges, Welchman Hall, St  Thomas.

Police say they were conducting traffic checks along Cane Garden Road on May 13 around 12:15 a.m. when they stopped a vehicle in which Lemon was a passenger.

A Berretta handgun and 11 rounds of ammunition were discovered in his pants pocket during a search of his person.  (PR/NB)
