Caretaker charged

THE AUXILIARY NURSE who was captured on video allegedly beating an 84-year-old patient of a nursing home was charged by police tonight.

Ariel King, of Lynches, St Philip, is expected to appear at the St Matthias Magistrate Court tomorrow morning.

The video showed Jasmine Hall, a resident of Roseville Nursing home, being hit with a shoe.

Police had launched an investigation into the incident days before the now viral video surfaced on social media. (MB)
