QUESTIONS ARE BEING raised about the fate of two young children after the death of the woman believed to be their mother.

On Wednesday, the body of 25-year-old Rowena Latoya Burnett was discovered in her apartment at Valere in Hastings, Christ Church. Police public relations officer Acting Assistant Superintendent David Welch reported that no foul play was suspected at this time; however, he said investigations into Burnett’s “unnatural” death continued.

Since no relative of the young mother had been identified, some people expressed concern about the future of the children, ages three and six.

A neighbour who preferred not to be named described the whole situation as “sad”. (SDB Media)
