TWO GIRLS WERE TAKEN to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) today after being struck by a car.
The accident occurred along Black Rock Main Road, St Michael near the Church of the Nazarene.
Initial reports indicate the two girls had just disembarked a church bus and were crossing the road when they were hit by the vehicle.
The road was cordoned off at Free Hill and traffic diverted while Police carried out investigations.
The two girls – one of whom had just sat the Common Entrance Exam, and the other, who is seven – were taken to the QEH for treatment by an ambulance. (TSG)
