The venues were confirmed yesterday when the WICB and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) jointly unveiled the long-awaited itinerary for the series, which runs from July 21 to August 22.
“It has absolutely nothing to do with any rift between the president [Dave Cameron] and anyone in Barbados. There is no political reason. That’s doesn’t come into the allocation of matches,” WICB chief executive officer Michael Muirhead said in a telephone interview with WEEKEND SPORT yesterday.
