Skinner wins Kregg Nurse Memorial Scholarship

JANELLE SKINNER is the newest recipient of the Caribbean Catalyst Kregg Nurse Memorial Scholarship Award.

Today at the Caribbean Catalyst’s River Road, St Michael offices, Skinner was chosen at the 12th winner of the annual award which recognizes individuals who have disabilities and that have successfully completed at least one year of post-secondary school education.

Skinner who is pursuing a degree in psychology at the University of the West Indies Cave Hill was presented with her scholarship by Senator Kerryann Ifill.

There were six applicants for the award this year and they were narrowed down to the two finalists, Toni Wharton and Skinner. (TSG)
