St James man injured in accident

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING an accident which occurred on Salters Road, St George involving a minibus and a motorcycle yesterday.

The minibus was driven by Deon Carter of Good Intent, St George and the motorcycle was being ridden by Nigel Small, 32, of Westmoreland, St James.

Small sustained serious head and pelvis injuries and was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance. He is in serious condition.

The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. (PR/SAT)
