NEIGHBOURHOOD CARE PHARMACY Weymouth Wales are the 2016 Banks Beer Champions Cup champions.

The Carrington Village unit came from a goal down to defeat Rendezvous 4-1 on Sunday night at the Barbados Football Association’s Wildey AstroTurf.

A large crowd watched the two Digicel Premier League representatives go head-to-head for the second time in seven days.

Last weekend, Rendezvous defeated Wales 2-1 and they started Sunday’s final with similar intentions.

Former Wales front man Dwayne Stanford ran onto a well-weighed pass from midfield and in sublime fashion finished confidently into the bottom right-hand corner, beyond the outstretched left arm of Omari Eastmond in the eighth minute. (ROG)
