Two clash over rent money
ACCUSATIONS, recriminations, allegations and insults flew as two women clashed in Stuart Land, Savannah Road, Bush Hall, St Michael, yesterday.
Their dispute was over a rented house in the neighbourhood, the windows of which were broken around 5 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
As one woman accused and the other rebuked in the name of God, police from District “A” were investigating to find out who actually shattered the glass in every roadside window of the house.
Marlene Elliott, the daughter of 74-year-old Carlton Stuart, who lives in the United States and who owns the house and a number of others in the neighbourhood, accused tenant Patricia Eversley of paying someone to break the windows. (HLE)
