BARBADOS’ own players have held pride of place in the squad once again.
Just not Kirk Edwards.
The man who can’t find favour with the West Indies now can’t even find a place in regional cricket, as the former West Indies vice-captain went undrafted for the upcoming Professional Cricket League (PCL) season.
Edwards’ non-selection for any of the six franchises was the big news coming out of yesterday’s PCL draft, where the Barbados Pride returned a largely unchanged side from last year’s outfit after drafting just one newcomer in Trinidadian spinner Kisoondath Magran. (JM)
