Agard: I’ll speak of political plans in future
MUM’S THE WORD from embattled Member of Parliament Dr Maria Agard about her future in Barbadian politics.
The usually outspoken first-time MP is keeping her plans close to her chest, with general elections still a way off, and constitutionally due in 2018.
When contacted by the SUNDAY SUN about her next move, Agard said she would let the country know of her plans, but not just yet.
She also opted not to say if she was considering running in the Christ Church West constituency as an independent candidate. “That interview will come, but not just yet. I will let you know of my plans at the appropriate time, but now is not the time to say,” she added. (BA)
