Driver seriously injured in accident

THE DRIVER OF a lorry was injured yesterday after he reportedly lost control of the vehicle and plunged 19 feet over a bridge.

Police say Radcliffe Bostic of Upper Station Hill, St Michael was driving along Brucevale Road, St Andrew around 5:15 p.m. when the accident occurred.

He was expected to undergo surgery after receiving multiple fractures along the left side of his chest and suffering a collapsed right lung.

The vehicle was extensively damaged. (PR/NB)
