THE BAJANS are ready to smash their way to victory at the upcoming Caribbean Junior Squash Championships (CASA).

With three days to go before the July 16 to 23 championships in the Cayman Islands, captain Rhett Cumberbatch told MIDWEEK SPORT he was quite confident about their chances.

He said the team had been preparing from February and since they have not won the overall title since 2004 he was even more eager to grab it.

“I have strong players going in. Everybody is in good condition and I am really excited. I believe I can get it done,” said Cumberbatch.

He said besides the individual titles, he was really focusing on the boys. (RG)
