THE CHEST ROLL could be on display in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) once stand-out West Indies Under-19 all-rounder Shamar Springer, who displayed the popular dance moves during the ICC World Youth Tournament, recovers from injury.

Tridents Pride of Barbados’ captain Kieron Pollard revealed on Sunday during a media conference at Kensington Oval that Springer could get his opportunity depending on the combination of the team and whether he is fit enough to bat and bowl.

“Of course, all players are up for selection. Again, it comes down to the combination of the team, it comes down to what we are looking for,” Pollard said.

“He [Springer] has done well in the Under-19s [and  he has continued to do well. I think, at this moment, he is carrying a sort of injury and is not bowling as well,” Pollard noted. (EZS)
