UPDATE: Man shot and killed at Harts Gap

POLICE HAVE CONFIRMED a man was shot and killed at a home in Harts Gap, Christ Church today.

Police spokesman, acting Assistant Superintendent David Welch told NATIONNEWS police were executing a warrant at a house in the area when the incident occurred.

The man was shot and taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The name of the deceased has not been released as the family is still to be notified.

However, reports indicate he had been the subject of a wanted notice this year.
