EXPERIENCE sure does count for something.

Just ask the veteran Braddies Bar and Everyday Signs Pinelands, who are now just one win away from taking the league title following Thursday’s 84-69 Game 1 rout of a green schoolgirls’ side in the No.1 Beauty Supplies and Beauty Exchange Women’s Basketball finals.

The game was even worse than the final score suggested, serving as a real eye-opener for the young Combined Schools Hoopsters who were all making their finals debut at the Barbados Community College.

And that inexperience clearly showed, with Pinelands taking advantage of an ill-disciplined defensive effort by continually beating the schoolgirls down the court for the easiest of uncontested layups.
