IN KEEPING WITH this period of celebration, almost 200 children from across Barbados enjoyed a rollicking time yesterday at the Hilton Barbados.
Community outreach activist Sharon Bellamy once again brought together the children for an afternoon of lunch and merriment.
Bellamy, a fish vendor by trade and a foster mother to many, has seen the now annual event grow rapidly.
What started as the fruit of her generosity towards a few children has expanded to involve 180 children, thanks to the help of businesses.
The evening was hosted by popular children’s disc jockey and clown Wackey Wayne who made it a real joy for those attending. (MR)
