Bajans overseas keeping watch
THEY MAY NOT live in Barbados, but Bajans in the diaspora are paying attention.
That is the word from Charles Crichlow who spoke at the opening of the Barbados Network Consultation 4th Biennial Diaspora Conference at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, which climaxes today.
Crichlow, who lives in Manchester, England, spoke on behalf of all the communities in the diaspora. He said they welcomed the continued support of Government for the network consultation process.
He assured the gathering that those living in the United Kingdom were very aware of what is happening in the country, and credited social media as the primary source of information. (YB)
