EVERYTHING IS RIGHT as rain in Rio.
Well, for Team Barbados at least.
Chef de Mission Dr Adrian Lorde has had absolutely no complaints with the living conditions for the Olympic Games thus far even amidst all the negative reports coming from other contingents in Brazil.
“Everything here is excellent for us. We’re staying in condominiums and we have had no problems whatsoever,” Lorde revealed.
“The conditions here are really excellent. We have working air conditioning in all the rooms and our apartments were ready when we got here.
“We had one leaky faucet and that was immediately fixed. I haven’t even seen dust in our rooms so I can safely say our athletes are in good spirits and focused on the job at hand,” he added.
