But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
– 1 Corinthians 2:1 (KJV)
THE CREATOR IS ALWAYS in charge of our destiny and I continue to allow this guiding force to lead me. Once we treat all persons on earth as teachers and see them as stars in the universe, we will continue to learn spiritually from God.
My real plan is to fulfil my authentic purpose and I know I cannot do it unless I connect to the most righteous humans. One such person is Edwin “Sinbad” Mascoll. Never stand in judgement about who our teachers can be or will be. You may have missed many divine opportunities.
An intriguing silent doctor is circulating and it seems to be making rounds like when Moringa hit the island. I received WhatsApp messages requesting information about this plant and I could not answer one single question about it.
Last Monday I went to collect my DAILY NATION from the usual vendor and Mr Mascoll came up to me and said: “Herbalist, you know the panadol plant?” I replied “no”. I then explained to him that I received enquires about it, but the truth was I did not know it.
He then led me to two of the plants growing in a recycled container. He even insisted that I break one of the leaves and smell it. His final words inspired me: “You are the herbalist and I believe you need to know about this plant to educate others.” It was a very humbling experience and I am excited that the Creator took the time to use Mr Mascoll to educate me.
The panadol plant or plectranthus caninus roth is a member of the Lamiaceae (mint, labiatae/deadnettle) family. It comes from a family of flowering plants. I classify it as a very spiritual, healing and intriguing plant. It appears that in St Lucia it is well documented.
On the website www.saintlucianplants.com, research shows that the panadol plant is used to treat gum and skin diseases. I was also informed about its pain-relieving properties. Oregano, or our poor man’s pork, which is a member of the mint family, is also used to protect against diabetes, detoxify the body, improve heart health and has other health benefits.
I am encouraging all readers to go out there and do your research on the astonishing panadol plant.
