No pressure, says King
BARBADOS’ BEST tennis player could be on the verge of making history.
But don’t tell that to Darian King.
The king of swing says he feels no pressure heading into today’s second-round qualifying match against Aleksandr Nedovyesov, even though a victory would put him just one win away from an ever-elusive spot in the main draw of the US Open.
“Of course it would be my biggest achievement but I don’t feel any pressure to be honest [because] I’ve been playing this sport professionally for four or five years now, so I just adhere to the plans I receive and try to take it out on court,” said the 24-year-old. (JM)
