UPDATE: Policeman found dead

POLICE ARE PROBING the death of Sergeant Glenville Alleyne from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot injury yesterday.

Up to 9 o’clock last night, investigators were still on the scene at Johnson Development, Foul Bay, St Philip, where onlookers had gathered from around 6 p.m.

The body of Alleyne, 51, who was attached to the Marine Unit was discovered by a relative around 5:45. (AC)
