LESLIE REIFER Jr is living his dream.

After being appointed to the International Cricket Council’s international panel of umpires last May, he officiated at his debut Twenty20 International match between West Indies and India on August 28 in Florida.

Describing that experience as surreal Reifer said it was truly a dream come true.

“It was a wonderful experience to be out there at the international level, because cricket means a lot to me. I used to play the game, so it’s something I hold very close to my heart, and now to be able to officiate at that level for two of the stronger T20 teams in world cricket is a really good feeling,” he said from Toronto, where he is currently vacationing.
