AN ALREADY SAD SITUATION for siblings Ormiston Walton and Rosalind Walton-Harris has become even more wretched.

Faced with the unenviable task of having to return to Barbados from the United States to bury their mother, the brother and sister got the shock of their lives when they found out that their two other siblings had gone ahead and buried her privately.

The two, who have been living in the US for over 30 years, told the DAILY NATION the situation had arisen because of bad blood between the four siblings.

A distraught Ormiston said he was in total shock when he arrived on Friday morning, only to be shown a pamphlet of his mother’s funeral rites. (RB)
