THE OPENING round of the Barbados Public Workers’ Co-operative Credit Union Limited Monarchs of the Court 2016 provided some thrilling encounters when the action served off at the Cable & Wireless, Wildey courts on Sunday night.

With a top prize of a car and $3 000 at stake in the most lucrative road tennis tournament to be staged by the Professional Road Tennis Association, just one minor upset occurred on a night when six matches tossed up three games that went to deciders and four sows.
