RESIDENTS OF ST LUCY and White Hill, St Andrew, have suffered enough!

That is the cry of Peter Phillips, Barbados Labour Party (BLP) candidate for St Lucy, and George Payne, BLP Member of Parliament for St Andrew, and they are insisting that it is high time for the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) to get its act together.

Along with St Joseph and St Peter, these two parishes have been plagued with prolonged water stoppages and shortages in recent months, as the BWA grapples to deal with the situation.

Speaking to the SATURDAY SUN on Thursday night at the conclusion of Payne’s St Andrew’s constituency annual general meeting, both men agreed that the time had come for a solution to be found. (RB)
