MURDER-ACCUSED Philip Mark Anthony Griffith was remanded to HMP Dodds when he appeared in District ‘E’ Magistrates Court at Holetown today.

Griffith, 32, of Butlers Ave, Spooners Hill, St Michael, was not required to plead to the indictable charge of murder and is scheduled to reappear on November 10.

He is accused of killing Christopher Hawkesworth on October 1.

The body was discovered in a car parked off the road in a bushy track which leads from Mullins Road to Bakers, St Peter by a police patrol. He was shot in the back of the head.

Hawkesworth’s wife Kim had reported him missing the previous day. (PR/SAT)
