MINISTER OF EDUCATION Ronald Jones has defended the education system of Barbados after it came under attack from a representative of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) who accused it of falling from its traditional standards.

Jones brought up the issue while speaking to the media at FLOW’s Warrens headquarters yesterday where the telecommunications company launched its Flow Study.

The minister said he was going to “shatter” claims being made that Barbados’ educational system was less than stellar.
