DESPITE THE UNAVAILABILITY of six of their main players, Barbados Pride’s captain Kevin Stoute is confident he has a team that can withstand any challenge in the upcoming regional Professional Cricket League (PCL) first-class championship.

“I am very confident in the side that the selectors have chosen. It is a very experienced team. We’re missing Miguel Cummins, who is [going to be] away with the West Indies One Day team, but we are expecting six guys to be back from the Test side, which should give us a boost,” Stoute told WEEKEND SPORT yesterday during a meet and greet for team members at their sponsor ICBL’s Roebuck Street headquarters.
