Bizzy urges help for QEH
THE MAN who worked on the electrical drawings of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) in its start-up years has made an impassioned plea for Barbadians to throw their support behind the medical facility.
In fact, business magnate Ralph “Bizzy” Williams feels that instead of criticising, people should be finding ways to help the staff.
Williams was speaking as he handed over a $100 000 donation to the ophthalmology department to kick off the QEH’s QUEST (Queen Elizabeth Hospital Eye Surgery Theatre) initiative yesterday.
“I have heard many people criticise this hospital but I can say from personal experience I have had excellent treatment here,” he said. (HLE)
