Cameras in some schools
IT SEEMS THAT SOME schools have heeded the suggestion of the Caribbean Association of Security Professionals and installed security cameras.
The association’s executive director Oral Reid said there had been discussions between his organisation and a number of schools and he had been encouraged by the level of engagement.
Reid said he had seen some of the association’s recommendations undertaken.
“What we also recognise is that many of those individuals have engaged privately with the operators of private security companies. And this is a positive sign,” he said at the Career Development Institute in Bridgetown. (AD)
