Kenyan back for Run Barbados

A NUMBER of top overseas distance runners will be on the starting line for the 33rd Run Barbados Marathon early next month.

This was confirmed at a press conference to launch this year’s event at the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc.’s (BTMI) offices in Warrens yesterday.

Kenyan-born two-time Run Barbados marathon winner Richard Kessio will once again be in the running to capture silverware.

He will be accompanied by Canadian Olympians Lanni Marchant, who competed in both the marathon and the 10 000 metres at the Rio Olympics, and 10 000-metre competitor Natasha Wodak. (RG)
